| Nov.09: CEC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Haider Murad and Sons Investment Group (HMG), the sole distributor for Sharp in Jordan to develop renewable and clean-energy projects in Jordan. The MoU was signed between Issa H. Murad, General Manager of HMG and Jamal Badran, Chairman of CEC. Together, CEC and HMG will implement strategic projects involving solar energy solutions for power generation in Jordan utilizing Sharp products. “To help solve the problems of global warming and environmental degradation, our main focus at CEC is to provide renewable energy solutions through our technically advanced team and well-capitalized organization. The MoU that was signed with Haider Murad Group sets the stage for a long-lasting relationship, especially in light of CEC’s efforts to promote the use of renewable energy in Jordan.” Eng.Badran said. Mr. Murad stated, “It is very important for us at Haider Murad Group to continually search for alternative fuel sources that will save the environment and money, and we found that solar energy is at the forefront.
